Consultation
Bovis Homes and David Wilson Homes North Midlands undertook a public consultation period prior to the submission of the planning application. This ensured that local people were included in the development process and that the final development proposal reflected the needs of the community as a whole.
Local interest groups (with an established interest in the specific site), local councillors, residents, business owners and the general public were invited to view the plans for the development and offer their feedback and comments. A public exhibition, displaying the proposals and offering the chance to meet with the development team, was held in February.
Information was also made available to the general public via the local media and this website. Feedback can be given via the Contact Us page of this site.
All the feedback received during the public consultation phase (prior to 20th March 2008) was used by Bovis Homes’ and David Wilson Homes’ development team to prepare the planning application.
