Proposed development
Bovis Homes and David Wilson Homes are proposing a residential led, mixed use development. The initial concept plans include:
- Effective environmental management of Sharphill Wood
- Fully accessible community park
- Around 1200 new homes (including 30% affordable homes comprising a mix of homes for rent and shared ownership)
- A site for a new further educational establishment
- A new primary school
- Enhanced secondary school facilities
- A dedicated bus route
- A high street with a range of uses – retail, community facilities, employment options
- Business innovation centre
- A hotel
